Arriving at the marina for check in at 2.30pm is the beginning of your luxury catamaran sailing experience – Waiting to welcome you aboard our magnificent catamaran are our skipper and hostess. After an on board vessel briefing, and waiver signing, we sail out to explore the very best the Whitsundays have to offer. We cruise effortlessly across turquoise waters toward your first night of rest and relaxation amongst the islands of the Whitsundays. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks as you get to know your new friends. At the first quiet anchorage your hostess will be preparing your sumptuous feast. After your meal, kick back and relax under the stars. After a last glance across the shimmering waters, you fall into your huge, comfy berth and enjoy the best nights’ sleep you’ve ever had while Getaway floats peacefully in her secluded anchorage.
Day Two
Don’t sleep in – there’s too much to do! The crew are up early to make you a cup of tea of coffee and prepare your fabulous continental breakfast. After a quiet pleasant sail we head off to visit the vast silica sands of the magnificent Whitehaven Beach. Wading through crystal clear water over brilliant fine white sand with the ocean vista before you is an experience never to be forgotten. You may never want to leave, but once back on board you will devour a superb smorgasbord. We then up anchor to visit one of the many sensational islands fringed by stunning coral reef. After a full day of snorkeling, swimming or simply relaxing and soaking up the magnificent views, our palatial cruise boat drifts gently to another spectacular anchorage, to watch the sun set.
Day Three
Your last breakfast on board and another opportunity to get wet if you’re up to it. Getaway will take you on one last swim or snorkel. After morning tea Whitsunday Getaways will set sail for home. On the trip back to Airlie Beach, lounge around on the huge forward nets and soak up the stunning views… Sure to be with you for years to come. Whitsunday Getaway has to be the very best way to visit as much as possible of our beautiful island archipelago. With our friendly crew, fine food and spacious accommodation, you will love cruising the wonderful Whitsundays.
Note: There is often no service once you are sailing in the Whitsunday Islands, so it’s time to switch off your phone and really relax! Phone reception will return at short, announced intervals.
Only bring a small soft overnight bag. (Avoid suitcases with wheels.)
Ensure you pack clothes, a hat, swim-wear, beach towel, sunscreen, warm pull over for evenings (seasonal), waterproof jacket, walking shoes or sandals and cash/card for on board purchases.
Storage for your other bags is available at the check in office for a small fee.
Feel free to bring on board a re-usable water bottle and/or additional snacks.
You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages, available for purchase in town, near the check in office. Drinks will be kept in esky coolers, so plan to purchase your drinks just before departure so they are already cold when you board.
When possible, avoid bringing many glass bottles, opt for cans instead for rubbish storage reasons.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to re-schedule or alter all or part of a reservation.
Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure
50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure
100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure
There will be no refund of any part of your tour costs should you fail to arrive at a scheduled tour departure time. Tour departures may not be delayed due to passenger circumstances - including events beyond your control, medical problems, airline delays, weather etc.
All passengers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation insurance, evacuation and medical cover. Please read the wording of your insurance policy carefully and ensure it covers you for all potential activities

• Please remember you need to allow 24 hours from your last dive before flying.
• Passengers intending to dive but restricted due to the aforementioned will not be offered a refund.

SCUBA DIVING - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is not our company’s decision regarding these laws - we are regulated by the Queensland Government
• You will be required to complete a Medical Questionnaire before participating in any Scuba activities.
• Some medical conditions OR medications may prevent you from scuba diving unless a current Queensland Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the Dive Instructor on
board.
For example: Asthma / Wheezing or use of an inhaler, Brain, spinal cord or nervous/anxiety disorder, Chronic bronchitis or persistent chest complaint. Chronic sinus condition, Collapsed Lung (pneumothorax), Diabetes, Chest Surgery, Heart Disease of any kind high, blood pressure, Crones Disease, however medical conditions are not limited to the aforementioned there are many other conditions.
• If you are unsure of a particular medical condition or medication, please check with our Office before booking your dive.
• It is the Passenger's Responsibility to be proactive in relation to their medical conditions and taking of medications to ensure they are ok to scuba dive if they wish to do so
on the day.
• If you have not been proactive in checking with our office regarding any medical issues prior to your Reef Trip, you must be aware that details of your medication will be sent
to the Queensland Dive Doctors on the Day of Travel. This can be difficult for the Dive Doctors as they do not know your medical history. We can only give them information
submitted to us on your medical form so please understand that the dive Doctor may require a full dive medical to clear you to dive.
• Prior and existing Medical conditions where medication is not being taken cannot be sent to the Dive Doctors therefor important to contact our office.
• Please be advised that if you are not allowed to Scuba Dive due to your medical condition/medication that this is the decision from the Queensland Dive Doctors and their
decision is final.
• DO NOT presume that by taking medication is controlling your medical conditions and you should be fine to scuba dive as it is the medication that can be the problem when
scuba diving.
• No refunds on uncompleted dives.
• Passengers intending to dive but restricted due to the aforementioned will not be offered a refund.
• Please remember you need to allow 24 hours from your last dive before flying.
• If you do have any pre-existing/existing medical conditions or are taking any medication whatsoever and are not sure whether you will be deemed medically fit to Scuba
